Welcome to CompanionLabs ("we," "us," "our," or "Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CompanionLabs website and services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use our Services.
By creating an account, logging in via Google, or by interacting with our AI, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
CompanionLabs provides access to an advanced, continuously thinking AI designed to facilitate human-like interactions. Users are able to create a companion based on anyone real or not. By using our Services, you acknowledge that the AI provides responses based on its programming and input data, and no guarantee is made as to the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of generated answers or advice. You also acknowledge that you shall not create a companion that acts or does illegal activity, and are responsible for any repercussion it may cause if you do.
To use CompanionLabs Services, you must log in securely through Google using OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs within your account. If you believe your account has been compromised or used without authorization, you must promptly contact us.

The use of certain features within the CompanionLabs Services require a payment of a transaction fee of $20. One successful payment gives you permanent access to creating a companion, and 360 credits. Once the credits run out they need to be refilled by repeating the same transaction payment of $20. One credit equates one minute of usage.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's payment terms. Payments are processed in line with Stripe's policies, which you can access at Stripe's Privacy Policy, including their refund and cancellation processes.
No refunds can be provided for any payments already made.
All content, design, text, graphics, logos, and other materials that are part of CompanionLabs, including the AI technology itself, are the intellectual property of CompanionLabs and are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws.
Any messages or prompts you generate during the use of our Services remain your property. However, you grant us the non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, edit, and display any user-generated publicly available content generated through the Services, solely for the purposes of providing the Services or as required by law.

In no event shall CompanionLabs’ total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CompanionLabs, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, costs, losses, or liabilities, including attorney fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms, your use of the Services, or your interaction with the AI, whether directly or indirectly.
